  • Effective Communication

    The challenge

Poor leadership communication costs organisations millions in misalignment, rework and low morale. Leaders can have brilliant strategies and good intentions. If they cannot communicate clearly and persuasively, nothing gets executed properly.

Leadership communication is not just about speaking well. It is about ensuring understanding, building alignment and inspiring action across diverse audiences, including teams that span multiple generations with very different communication styles and preferences.

Communication is the work of leadership. Everything depends on it.

This program builds the communication skills that underpin every other aspect of effective leadership because a leader can have the right strategy and the best intentions and still fail if they cannot communicate.

    Who should attend

    • Leaders at all levels who need to communicate more effectively with their teams, peers or senior stakeholders
    • Managers leading cross-functional initiatives where alignment and clarity are critical
    • Executives presenting to boards, clients or large groups

  • How CTO makes the learning stick

    Before training

CTO works with you and your nominated contact to identify the specific communication challenges leaders in this organisation face, whether difficult conversations, stakeholder management, team alignment or something else. Content and scenarios are shaped accordingly.

    During training

Participants practise real communication scenarios in a safe environment – role-plays, peer feedback and structured reflection are built into the session. The facilitator draws on participants’ actual communication challenges throughout the day.

    After training

A communication skills reference guide is provided including frameworks for difficult conversations, feedback models and persuasion structures. Multi-session programs combining Effective communication with Coaching for development are available.
