    The challenge

Supervisors hold one of the most critical and most under-supported positions in any organisation. They are expected to maintain productivity, handle problems and develop the people around them, often all at the same time and usually without formal training to draw on.

In modern workplaces, the challenge is compounded further – many frontline teams now span multiple generations, with different communication styles, different relationships with authority and very different expectations of how they want to be led.

If you have been struggling to maintain productivity, resolve problems, and develop people simultaneously within your team, which spans multiple generations and working styles right now, this could be the ideal training support for leaders like you. Delivered onsite or live online, this course addresses the unique challenge supervisors face – maintaining productivity, resolving problems and developing people simultaneously.

Weak supervision creates operational inefficiencies, quality issues and employee dissatisfaction. Excellent supervision transforms team performance.

This program gives supervisors the practical tools to lead with confidence, balancing the operational demands of the role with genuine people development across a team that may look very different from one member to the next.

  • How CTO makes the learning stick

    Before training

CTO conducts a pre-training consultation with you and your nominated contact to understand your team’s working environment, the supervision challenges most common in your setting and the specific outcomes your organisation needs. Content is shaped around your actual context, not a generic supervision template.

    During training

Every scenario and role-play reflects real frontline supervision situations. Participants practise handling performance conversations, giving feedback and managing team dynamics in realistic conditions, with live facilitator coaching throughout.

    After training

Participants receive a post-training reference guide. Follow-up programs, including Coaching for development and Learning to lead, are available for organisations building a broader leadership development pathway.
